In the head of the valley of Saalbach Hinterglemm there are lots of attractions to enjoy during a short stay or a summer holiday in the mountains. The whole family will have great fun here.
The high ropes park in the head of the valley in Saalbach Hinterglemm consists of several courses at different heights and of different difficulty, from 3 m to 40 m in height, with various obstacles and high rope stations requiring courage and skill across a variety of rope and bridge constructions.
Highlight: the Europeean Slide, over 2 km long! Guests fly at 70 km an hour at a height of 120 m over the Glemmtal valley.
The 200 m long “Alpine Golden Gate Bridge of the Alps” spans the head of the valley at a height of 42 m. It leads to the 1 km long treetop walk, the highest treetop walk in Europe, built on 11 towers, 30 m tall. For small climbing fans, on the treetop walk there is also a “low ropes park”. Both of these attractions offer fabulous views of the Saalbach Hinterglemm mountains and are also open in winter!
Schnitza’s Wood Park, as the name suggests, is all about wood. The huge adventure playground houses lots of wooden attractions for children. Amongst other things, they can have a race milking the wooden cow, have a go at various games of skill, and try their hand at woodcarving. Lots of fun for the kids out in the open air.
The Teufelswasser at the head of the Saalbach Hinterglemm valley provides a refreshing way of cooling down on hot summer days. Enjoy the rock pools, dancing spirits of the forest, and the fairy & gnome kingdom; there is plenty of variety here for everyone.
At the Lindlingalm restaurant you can enjoy some tasty regional dishes and pleasant refreshments! The big sun terrace invites you to switch off and relax.
